Co-founder of Compagnie du Miel
After a first entrepreneurial experience in Singapore, Thibaut Lugagne Delpon discovered Madagascar in 2013 thanks to a 2-years contract for the French-retailer Casino. He finally stayed for two more years to create a network of inclusive convenience shops, allowing him to discover Madagascar honeys and the social and environmental potential of beekeeping in Africa. In 2017, he launched La Compagnie du Miel.
La Compagnie du Miel produces pure & traceable honey in Madagascar. It provides and trains farmers in beekeeping to increase their standard of living and offers an alternative source of income to coal mining and slash-and-burn agriculture, the main causes of deforestation in Africa.
