Jean-Marc Adjovi was born in 1963 in Benin, grew up in France and then studied aeronautics. He was a professional footballer from 1986 to 1997 and became the Benin national team captain. He got a 2nd-level national sport instructor’s certificate in Football in 1995 and a degree from the Graduate School of Business of Lille in 2001. In 2000, he founded the association DIAMBARS with Bernard Lama and Patrick Vieira, an association that has become a reference in Africa regarding sports and education. In 2013, he co-founded the brand “Envie d’y Voir” for the development of a network of optical stores in Africa, in order to democratize the access to glasses. In 2014, he created a concept of participative garages “Centre Auto Repair” and built 4 garages in 5 years, as well as a franchise in process in France and Africa.
In 2017, he joins the French Presidential Council for Africa, created by the President Macron.
